Where law enforcement training and academia come together

Law enforcement training and academia have more in common than we realize. Years working in both industries made me realize we can improve police training by adopting certain teaching techniques colleges and universities have practiced for years, especially in the area of assessing learning. At the same time, institutions of higher learning need criminal justice practitioners who have the desire and skill to teach the next generation of students entering this profession. This site addresses both of these areas with techniques and resources to be successful at both.
